Poetic Flowers

Like I said on flickr, my mother just bought these… these are artificial flowers, make of fish scales! I like them, they look beautiful on a vase🙂
I also would have liked to show a great web site for the artisan’s work, but in my opinion, they should improve the over all quality ASAP! It’s not like they aren’t making good money out of their work…

Eu gosto bastante, ficam bonitas no vaso🙂

This past week, I caught myself taking some flower shots. There had been quite some time since I had done that. I hadn’t even felt like taking shots of flowers, because I felt that such photos I took lacked something more. A touch of magic maybe.
With these two photos, I’m rather pleased. It’s a start on the artistic direction I’d like to take, of subtle beauty and poetry.

Semana passada, eu me peguei fazendo algumas fotos de flores.

And this last photo, I call it “The Dancing Flower”🙂 It’s a teeny tiny grass flower. The Super macro image was achieved using the reverse lens “technique”.
