Some of you know that I spent New Year’s Eve at the beach, Itajaí and surroundings more precisely. This trip was all about huge shrimps, ice-cream and red wine, everyday. It was pleasant, but I wish I had had the oportunity to do more of the things I like to do, rather than wait some girls do and redo their nails over and over, dry and straight their hair after every shower, wait for drunk heads to wake up and take their showers… But traveling in a large group is never 100% smooth, is it?

Alguns de vocês sabem que eu passei o Reveillon na praia, mais precisamente em Itajaí e arredores. Essa viagem foi regada a camarões gigantes, sorvete e vinho tinto, todos os dias. Foi bastante agradável, mas eu bem que gostaria de ter tido a oportunidade de fazer mais coisas que eu gosto, ao invés de esperar certas pessoas fazerem e refazerem suas unhas, secar e alisar o cabelo depois de cada banho, esperar os cachaçados acordarem e tomarem seus banhos… Mas viajar em um grupo grande nunca é 100% sem rusgas, não é mesmo?

I loved the carefree photo of the sandals sitting all alone on the edge of the beaach. Life is meant to be lived and this blog portrays that beautifully.
Lovely images! A really “summer holiday” look to it all. You ought to be careful doing ballet on the seaweed covered rocks!

Sam >> yep, there were some VERY slippery parts of the path to get there… that’s why Guilherme got my sandals, it was safer to go barefoot.
