Finally! Finally I was able to capture a Monarch butterfly and add it to my collection 😉
As some of you might know, I love butterflies and I am making a list of the ones I have shot already – I haven’t had time to chase them lately, though – but my greatest frustrations are the swallowtails! I’ll need longer lenses for those…

Finalmente!
Oh, and there are obviously the Blue Morpho, Atlas moth, Luna moth… those I must capture one day!

Ah, e têm obviamente ainda a borboleta Morfo Azul, a mariposa Atlas e a mariposa Luna… essas eu preciso fotografar um dia!
Have a nice day, everyone! 🙂
Parabens!
Bela captura.
Wonderful dainty beauties. I look forward to seeing the others when you capture them. Btw, have you seen the Sigma 70-300mm zoom macro lens? It’s the best selling of all zoom lenses, so it’s a very nice price.
I am saving money, Sam. But there are many lenses on my list. I’m in doubt which I should buy first 😛
PS – I think my envy on this occasion goes without saying…
hahahahahah ^.^
Olá Babs!!
Paraéns por mais essa bela foto!! Continue assim!!!
Bjo!
nice subject!!
Ensaio encantador Annita!!
Valeu, Rui! 😉
Monarchs are one of my favorites. You’ve seen them often in my photostream. Nice shots here. Are there many Monarch butterflies where you live? There are many in Pittsburgh in the summer.
No, Doug… they aren`t many monarchs where I live, unfortunately :S
