The Night of the Hearts

On December 2010 I was heading to the beach with my boyfriend, when we got stuck in a huge traffic jam. It was night and rainy and to entertain myself I decided to take some photos of the windshield with the droplets. The photo above is one of them.

Em Dezembro de 2010 eu estava viajando para a praia com meu namorado, quando nós ficamos presos em um congestionamento ginórmico. Era noite e estava chovendo, e para passar o tempo eu decidi fazer algumas fotos do parabrisas com as gotas. A foto abaixo é uma delas.

So, since then I’ve wanted to take the same kind of photos, but with a heart filter in front of the lens. I’d never remember to take my camera with me on rainy nights, because if there’s one thing that don’t go well together it’s cameras and water, but finally a few weeks ago I did, and here is the result. I hope you’ll like it! 😉

Então, desde aquela noite eu tenho pensado em fazer o mesmo tipo de foto, mas com um filtro de coração na frente da lente. Eu nunca me lembro de levar a máquina comigo em noites chuvosas, porque se tem uma coisa que não combina é máquina fotográfica e água, mas finalmente algumas semanas atrás eu lembreu e aqui está o resultado. Espero que gostem! 😉

All the photos are exactly as shot, I didn’t even edit saturation or contrast. The colors vary accordingly to the different lights on the streets.
