Testing the new lens :)

Recently (a couple of weeks ago) I bought a new lens! A 24-70mm f/2.8 πŸ™‚ It’s a beautiful piece of equipment and comes with a macro mode too ^.^ I haven’t explored it a whole lot yet, but I’ve had fun with the little I meddled with it.

Now, on to saving money for the next πŸ™‚

These self-portraits were taken at a park near my house and there were lots of people there. I really don’t know why they all look at me as if I were such a lunatic everytime I set out to take self-portraits in public places… Β It’s not like I care, I’m probably thinking worse of their reactions than they are thinking of my actions.

But it was really quite hard to get the focus right for these photos at f/2.8 with this lens, then it was to get it at f/1.4 with the 50mm…

oh well… hasta later, minasan! πŸ˜‰

Hey I had that lens for a few, but traded it in and got the cheaper sigma 28-70 2.8 lol. The photos look good!

    • I’ve seen some test comparissons between Sigma and Canon lenses. The quality of Sigma is clearly inferior and also, in time, you get connection errors, the camera stops recognizing/accepting the lens. So, in this case, the Sigma lens is cheaper because of reasons πŸ˜›

Woho, f2.8, great news. Agree about Sigma problems. Public self portraits are another way to raise your profile. You got the attitude and they remember it. Looking forwards to more test shots.

So is the green tea i buy in cans exactly the same as the regular tea you’d buy to put in your morning cup? I’ve been told is just normal green tea produced to be cooler, but does it have any affect as far as not speeding up your metabolism as rapidly as normal hot green tea?
