Sensual lingerie photoshoot with four new faces

I miss the longer and warmer days of months past, days when the thought of getting in the fresh water wouldn’t send shivers down the spine. Such days will come again, to be sure and the ideas I have for photos related with water won’t seem so cruel, as I dare not ask a model to do so just now, but some weeks ago when the weather wasn’t so cold it was just what was done and the result is quite lovely, if I may say so 🙂

Sinto falta dos dias mais longos e quentes, dias em que a idéia de entrar em água fresca não mandaria arrepios pela espinha. Esses dias voltarão, como sempre voltam, e as idéias que eu tenho para fotos relacionadas com água não parecerão tão cruéis, já que não tenho coragem de pedir a uma modelo que entre na água fria, mas algumas semanas atrás quando o tempo não estava tão frio, foi isso o que fizemos e o resultado ficou muito bonito, se me permitem dizer isso 🙂

I was not hired to take this photos, I was just invited to help direct the models, since they were all new faces and unexperienced (All these photos were taken by me though). They were quite lovely and easy to work with, as it turned out. On the workshop I’ll host on July 1st (The workshop was going to take place on June 17th, but the weather forecast forced me to post pone it) I’ll talk about model direction since it is clear that so many people struggle to do it and expect every model to just shine on and come up with everything on their own. If it’s an unexperienced model, that’s hardly like to happen.

Eu não fui contratada para fazer essas fotos, eu fui apenas convidada para ajudar a dirigir as modelos, já que era todas new faces e inexperientes (todas essas fotos foram tiradas por mim). Elas foram umas fofas e muito fáceis de se trabalhar, como percebi. No workshop em que apresentarei no dia 1º de Julho (o workshop seria dia 17 de junho, mas devido à previsão do tempo tive que adiar)  eu vou falar sobre direção de modelos, já que bastante gente sente dificuldade em fazer isso e esperam que a modelo brilhe e invente poses e expressões por conta própria. Se a modelo não tem experiência, isso dificilmente acontecerá.

Unfortunately, by the time we got to the waterfall, there was not much light left. I had to push the ISO up and well, my camera doesn’t deal well with that and the photos are quite noisy. We should go back there eventually, when the weather improves.

Infelizmente, quando resolvemos descer às cachoeiras, não havia mais muita luz. Eu tive que usar ISO alto e bom, minha câmera não lida muito bem com isso e as fotos ficaram com bastante ruído. Nós temos que voltar lá eventualmente, quando o tempo melhorar.
