Chasing Stars

During the workshop we didn’t have time to do any backlit photos. The people who participated said that that kind of use of natura light was the main reason they had joined the workshop, so we got together again on another sunday afternoon to take the desired photos. To make this kind of light work, the sun should be low in the horizon, so anywhere around one hour before the sunset (or after sunrise) will do the trick.

This time, we didn’t do a big production. We met just to get those photos. So first I explained how to get the shiny hair effect, the dreamy soft focus, and then added a little extra touch with the seeds. Carol, as usual, was awesome modeling for us 🙂

Durante o workshop não deu tempo de fazer esse tipo de fotos com iluminação contraluz. As pessoas que participaram disseram que esse tipo de iluminação foi o principal motivo deles terem decidio participar do workshop, então nos encontramos em um outro domingo para fazer essas fotos. Para fazer esse tipo de foto funcionar, o sol deve estar baixo no horizonte, então entre uma hora antes do sol se pôr (ou depois do sol nascer) é a hora mágica.

Dessa vez não fizemos uma super produção. Nos encontramos só para fazer essas fotos. Então primeiramente eu expliquei como conseguir o efeito do cabelo brilhando, o foco soft, e então adicionei um pequeno toque com as sementes. Carol, como sempre, foi maravilhosa modelando para nós.
