Sometime ago, I shot this editorial in a day that many things went wrong. João França had found a great location for the photos: a very beautiful house with a fantastic deco and colors. But when we got there, the owner of the house was in her death bed. João then pulled out of the had another location, but it wasn’t as beautiful and most of the electrical sockets weren’t working, so I couldn’t use my lighting equipment. The photos are nice, but I don’t feel it’s the best work I’ve done. We had fun nonetheless, despite the stressful situations.

The mark of a professional photographer is being able to cope whatever the conditions—and you proved you could do exactly that with a nice set of pictures. Well done, AnnA!
Well done in the circumstances, of course you’re not new to shooting with natural light.
You have two options: “must save up for a power pack”, or (cheaper) “now how did I use to take available light shots…?”. Personally I prefer the latter option as you have mastered it and think this is amongst your best work. However, the client’s opinion must come first….. also, maybe you do need save up for the power pack.
Yes, I can work natural and strobe lighting quite well, but the problem is that I had envisioned the shoot with strobe lighting… so it’s more like a personal frustration than anything else.
