The Big Pink Doll House

There is a woodsmith that lives and works near my house. I pass in front of his place everynow and then and everytime I pass by, I think: “I should bring Helena here and take some photos”. The oportunity presented itself one day, when I was already planning on taking her there… she was acting up REALLY bad, furiously craving for atention. I knew what to do, so I went to her and said: “Helena, if you stop crying, I’ll take you right now to an *Enchanted Magic Pink Princess House*”. What do you think happened next? I had her full atention and complete silence 😉 She got so excited, her eyes got so shiny with antecipation! ^.^ So I gave her a bath, put on some cute clothes (it was a bit chilly that morning) and off we went.

Tem um carpinteiro que mora e trabalha perto da minha casa. Às vezes passo em frente à sua casa e toda vez eu penso: “Eu deveria trazer a Helena aqui e fazer algumas fotos”. A oportunidade se apresentou num dia em que eu já estava pensando em levá-la lá… ela estava fazendo um escândalo, furiosamente implorando por atenção. Eu sabia o que fazer, então eu fui até ela e disse: “Helena, se você parar de chorar, eu vou te levar agora mesmo à *Casa Rosa Mágica da Princesa Encantada*”. O que vocês acham que aconteceu? Eu tinha sua completa atenção e silêncio total 😉 Ela ficou toda animada e com os olhos brilhando de antecipação! ^.^ Então eu dei banho nela, coloquei uma roupinha bonitinha (estava um pouco frio aquela manhã) e nos dirigimos ao local.

I’ve mentioned it before: Helena is craaaaazy about being photographed. But this time, she was more interested in exploring the Doll’s House than in anything else. That was really cute to see ^.^

Mister Benedito, the woodsmith, was really kind in letting her play around and letting me take pictures. But after nearly half an hour, he had his work to do, so had I. It was SOOOO hard to get her out of there! I was broken hearted, it had been quite sometime since I saw her having so much fun.

Eu já havia comentado antes: A Helena aaaaama ser fotografada. Mas desta vez, ela estava muito mais interessada em explorar a Casinha de Bonecas do que qualquer outra coisa. Foi muito fofo de ver ^.^

O senhor Benedito, o carpinteiro, foi muito gentil em deixá-la brincar um monte e em me deixar fazer fotos. Mas depois de quase meia hora, ele tinha o seu trabalho a fazer, e eu também. Foi tããããooo difícil tirá-la de lá! E eu fiquei com o coração partido, fazia tanto tempo que eu não a via se divertir tanto!

 

On our way back home, all she would talk about was when we were going to go back there…
